Can I view my cameras when I am away from home?
Yes. Once the camera is connected to your home WiFi, you can view the live stream and receive alerts from anywhere in the world using your phone's mobile data (3G/4G/5G) via the Tuya or Smart Life app.
What happens if my WiFi goes down?
If you have a Micro SD card installed, the camera will continue to record locally even without an internet connection. You will not be able to view the live feed or receive notifications until the WiFi is restored.
How many people can view the camera at once?
You can "Share" your device with family members through the app. While multiple people can have access, we recommend limiting simultaneous live viewing to 2-3 people to maintain a stable video stream.
Do I need to pay a monthly subscription?
No. All MCMP Imports cameras support local storage via Micro SD cards. Cloud storage is an optional paid extra provided by Tuya, but it is not required for the camera to function
