Dry Contact vs. Wet Contact Relays

Understanding the difference between dry and wet contact relays is key to using this module effectively:

• Dry Contact Relay
  The output terminals do not supply power. It features two isolated circuits—one for powering the module and another for closing the external circuit. For example, if the input voltage is 220V, the output remains 0V. This is ideal for triggering systems that require a signal rather than power.
• Wet Contact Relay
  The output terminals supply the same voltage as the input. When activated, the relay passes the input voltage directly to the output terminals.
